Perhaps weekend looks a little sad without new CSM map. :) This CSM MINI was created as thanks to VideoBloger PRG who recorded many interesting videos in YouTube about maps from members of our KC Community. We wish him Good lu in his life and please subscribe to his channel and support him! Start of this map - unusual. You have one Sprayer unit which with some setting can give you from "green zone" anti-creeper to start the game. #BravoPRG #CreeperWorldForever
I am totally stumped here. What good is a sprayer with no source of AC to put in it? The only possible source I see is the conversion bomb chip, but you need AC to claim it and you need AC to claim the factory to put it in. There are some huge emitters, in theory it might be possible to use the singularity weapon to flip some creeper but I've never actually seen that produce a pile of AC when it happens.

Magic "green aura" zone produce AC! If you place Sprayer inside zone and make setting (in two first squares) of your unit you will get AC to sprayer and then start to convert first flip emitter!
Sorry for unusual trick - it should be variety of creative ideas! :D

For me, I don't think that it's not that new ideas aren't good, but I've never seen this mechanic and I didn't realize what was going on at first. I saw the sprayer, but I admit, I didn't even try and put it down to see what would happen. I spent a lot of time looking at the map and letting it run to see if there was something I wasn't catching. Usually those zones damage player units, so I was just looking for a way to get out as fast as possible. A small explanation or something hinting that the green zone would generate ac would have immediately cut off any of the frustration that I had with initially starting this map.
Thank for your continued creation of fun maps, BTW!

There is text on the center tile (forget what those are called atm), but I have a hard time reading the white text against the game background so I didn't catch that, either.
i was pretty confused at start too...looked around to AC emiters, even ore packs...and then

thought on checking the field thing, because we know from previous maps that they mess with ammo too.
it was quite the prank lol
i guess we're too used to doing the same thing and hardly think out of the box...like on that csm level where we had to push AC through the void to start the game.
Unusual start? Yes. But Yum even mentioned in the description what to do.
As for the actual gameplay:
These maps are far too entertaining to solve, so forgive me for being egoistic and wanting more :)

The start is an interesting mechanism, but I do not feel that this is a good execution of it. Shrug.. It does work as advertised.
Maybe rather start with the one (non-rebuildable!) sprayer, and a pool of AC somewhere on the map.
Have the sprayer firebucket between the pool and its first emitter.
However, the map itself, once started, is very good indeed. It almost had me stumped for a while.

Did anyone use the sprayer to some effect except for flipping the first emitter?
Despite the "no-unit-area" in this game giving AC, I have not really found anything new in regards to gameplay.
Hey yum, I wonder, why don't you ever give intro texts / dialog. This is one of several of your maps, where I think a message would have done the trick.

I don't think it's so much that new ideas aren't welcome as that we are confused about this one. It's also not very meaningful in this case--you absolutely must do it to start the map and after that it's of basically no value. There's no real choice, thus no real value.

Absolutely.
The sprayer is *great* for speeding progress when you are slowly pushing against an emitter.
Not in spray mode, mind you.
But for its AC-magnet effect when gathering (land directly behind emitter, slurp your AC forward!)
and for those suicidal selfdestructs, which dump a moderate amount of AC in a very,very tight concentration very fast.

Thanks. I tried the self-destruct and found it mildly useful, but didnt think about putting the magnet effect in an Creeper area. I guess I gotta replay this map indeed XD

the VERY FIRST THING I DID was build something inside the green since it started with "zero" in its description for damage, only to see that thing die. this wasnt a new idea, this was simply another "only one way to play" map that isnt fun. once you get past that, then its a nice map. please. no more "tricks" unless you are going to explain them or provide examples. they dont add any enjoyment, only frustration.
I once learned how to read, but I've since completely forgotten and now I'm unable to read anything at all. So I basically just have to guess what letters mean when all wedged together like irresponsible teenagers at a Covid-19 party, and thankfully I guessed right this time. There was a number that said 5 and then the letters "AC" and I was just hoping that wasn't a hexadecimal expression for 172 (it wasn't). Amazingly, it worked.
Yanno, there's a lot you can do in these maps with just one sprayer. I'd love to have two sprayers in a map like this. I ended up walking away at one point not realizing it was running, and came back to 1800-deep creeper over most of the map. Love a challenge? Like a seriously uphill battle? Try it and I promise it will be fun. ;)
Loved the map, Yum! I thought the start was kinda cool actually. A bit strange perhaps, but still cool. And hey, I'd take any kind of weird start to have a sprayer in one of these maps, so ya get lots of thumbs up and smileys for this map - thanks so much for making it! ;D ;D ;D

Aye, one of the greatest concepts and implementations in CW3, in my opinion. The basic premise of the game revolves around fluid dynamics, and the CSM maps are arguably the most pure form of that. Well, all except for the weapons that are available in some of them. Such a great concept, and Yum's mastery of implementation of this mechanic is unparalleled.
So all that to say, yeah I really love CSM maps too! ;D ;D ;D
