In your opinion is the CW map editor good. Personally I think it's great. I can make maps that are pretty good in about 5 minuets. I do want them to make the part of map editor that show you how your map looks and the ability to test your game without having to upload it on your game, just to test it on the map editor. Other than those minor issues that slow me down, I don't think that there is anyway to make it any better. ;D :P
Welcome.
However, if you do a search (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?action=search;advanced) for "Map editor" only in the "Suggestions" board , you will find that many of us disagree with that sentiment and have suggested numerous ways it can be improved.
THIS IS JUST MY OPINION! That might be true for you but thats not what I think. I've read a ton of them and some just don't matter. I like how you brought up the problem with them map rating system and how it could be better. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION!
If you make an map in 5 min , you should have time to uploade it to your game for testing =P
It takes about 3 sec to do so ;)
That is true in a way, but i run multiple tests on each of my maps. Like for example my OMG map I ran over 50 tests. BTW you should try it out some time. Holy crap you have a lot of maps. How long did it take you to make all of them?
Then it should be nice to see the gameplay while you make some changes in the editor .
And after some changes , reloade the map to the game . and so on .
Thats true but it gets annoying.
Click deploy to map, if then test your costum map in game, how hard is it?
I'm not saying it is hard for me but if you have a slow computer, your computer cannot handle those 2 big programs at once so you would have to keep on exiting and opening. I just think it would be convenient the map editor to have it on their.
Wait but if they did do that then anyone could play the game for free.

And you think the combined program would be smaller than two separate programs? as it is, if you switch, the map editor is not active and can be swapped out. and vice-versa.
What do you mean by that. On my old computer I could not run a game and a internet page at once or it would freeze. that is what would happen if someone did the same thing but using only the map editor and CW.
What are you, 5 years behind? my old comp thats pre dualcore CPU's run it fine, stop playing on your smartphone running win 7...
It doesn't matter too much about age, it matters about viruses and infections that you get on your computer.

OK, this is absurd.
Yea, whatever, everyone has their own opinion.
Having your own opinion is one thing, but talking complete nonsense about computers and programs is something completely different. At least that's my opinion. ;)
QuoteWhat is nothing. Is their anything that is nothing. Anything you think of is something so only God knows what is truly nothing.
I'm sure the creeper can tell you everything about the purity of nothingness. 8)
Clean your bloody pc then, its not supposed to be there, no wonder if your credit card gets stolen soon >_>
I did lose my wallet.
Careful, soon your documents will be translated into Swahili ;)
