Traditional cw3 game without crpl. Not too easy start - spores will attack! #BravoVirgil

The most difficult in this game - shortage of energy at the beginning of game.
Small tip:

Spoiler
Delete anti-creeper emitter and build "reactor on PZ".

Good lu!  :)

Ha!
That occurred to me in about the last 30 seconds of the game.
Might have to go back at it one more time.
More coffee first.

I can't survive the first spore wave - either I have not enough beams or not enough power (or the creeper overwhelms me). Foe me that seems to be a lot of trial and error.
I restarted to often to enjoy it...

This is from a 1:47 save.
I added another Cannon for defense, but only focused on Reactors until building about 10 Beams for that first onslaught.

(EDIT) thought I could hide an attachment in a Spoiler, but forget how.

I don't like to kill an ally (the AC emitter) unless it's absolutely unnecessary. And it's not in this map, nor is it necessary to pause or save - and while I know that doesn't matter to most players I like it when a map presents a significant challenge yet maintains a steady flow. This map is a great example of that.

For those of you who are struggling with energy:
1) All you need for defense for the first few minutes is a mortar. Build a couple collectors then build it.
2) You don't need beams right away. Build reactors instead. Building energy right away is like investing. The sooner you build, the faster you'll grow.
3) Once you see the first warning, build a beam. By now you should have at least 8 reactors - plenty to power a couple beams.

This is pretty standard stuff for just about any map, so for those of you who are newer I hope this will be helpful.  ;)

Another cool map, Yum. If you ever want to steal Sorrontis' no-pause CRPL and work your magic with it, I'm sure I wouldn't complain.  ;D ;D
