energy cost of 1000 for relays and most other tech on top of emitters?
which might also have high energy prices?
sorry dude, no thanks! it is too artificially slow for me...
Not difficult, not challenging just really really slow due to cost of resources. I'd rather sandpaper my nipples.
Concur with Tek's comment.
I don't mind long games, but it needs to be for a real reason, not just waiting for a 1000 point Relay to build.
Thanks,
H
It should be noted that the map maker has posted their own completion score as being in excess of 42 hours.
This map is a perfect example of why posting scores should stay independent of finishing the map. It is obvious that this map is going to appeal to a VERY VERY select group of people, Which means that they would be the only 1's allowed to post a score based on the requests of the "only if you finish should you be able to score a map" folks, Now how does sitting thru this map for the majority of us that find absolutely nothing entertaining about watching 1000 energy go to build a relay justify that stance?
I came here to say my thing, but it seems to have been said already.

...in excess of 42 hours.
I played one hour, to the point where i have a PZ Bertha, and forge, and plenty researched. SO its just a matter of wrapping up.
Which, at my estimate, will require another 1-1.5 hours.
Largely due to all the later emitters having totems, thus preventing longrange relays, thus forcing guppy-powered conquest. Yuck.
I concur with TimeWeaver.
My score for the map:
concept: 9
boredom, -1
tedium, -1
ennui, -1
yawn, -1
frustration, -1
and actually having the time while building relays to lookup synonyms for boredom, -1
