Title: Map approval delay
Post by: Karsten75 on May 28, 2010, 08:40:36 PM
Y'all will have to be patient (or hope another map approver takes up the slack), since I have done a clean install of Windows 7 on my laptop and that means I hosed everything. It will be a few days before I have re-installed everything and can install the Creeper World game, Map Editor and map approval software.

But there are more than 2,000 maps out there, so everyone should have *something* to do. Or you can go outside and do something physica - that is also good.  :)l

I have only 2 evenings per week available for reviewing, but I'll do what I can. For now I'll only approve maps that have a score submitted (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=980.0), so you know what to do when you're eager to get your map posted....

I could maybe help... I've been looking for something to help me get back into the Creeper World community...

Due to the holiday season (more maps coming in and less map reviewers), posting a score for your own map (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=980.0) is even more important now.

I will only approve maps with a score and maps that obviously can be beaten. I will leave maps with doubts in the queue for 2 days so a score can still be submitted. When still no score has been posted I will reject them (so they leave the queue) and only unreject these maps when the author has posted a score (which is still possible). This policy will probably be in effect for about 3 weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Since I am the new map reviewer I will aslo abide by these rules as I don't have much time either. If you do not post a score for your map we will not approve it unless it is oblivious that it can be beaten.
