How to start on this one?
The *several hundred* runners immediately paralyze anything that is not on the centerline of the island, and one cannot afford to kill them as that causes creep flooding round the kills?

I tried killing them early, but 17 sniper together simply did not make a visible dent in the runner population?

I'll give it a try shortly, but I have an idea ... I'll see if it works.

It seems that idea didn't work, but standard tactics apply:

1. The Emitters are effectively distant, so don't try to fight the Creeper that's on the Digi, mop up at each and of the island.
2. There aren't many Spores, and you have time before they arrive.
3. Cannons with a range upgrade outrange Runners.
4. The Digi only comes onto each island at three spots, so guard those from Digi to keep Runners away.
5. In general, don't kill more than a few Runners with Snipers, if you can just shoot the Digi away instead.

Suggest ignoring runners at first, and keep digi at bay on the side while capturing anti-creeper. Also shoot digi paths on island so creeper doesn't enter from bottom. Be on the lookout for increased flow around 5 min and more spores. Thanks for playing!

In the beginning I tried to hold both starting islands, then I realized two things: First was: The islands aren't equal sized and the second: I died...

So in my second approach I started only on the southern island, and farmed only a bit of aether in the north - when you build the initial infrastructure 7 cells from the digi, you won't get stunned.

I got that 'died' part down pretty well.

Now established on the South Island and attacking North.
