A puzzle world including CSM skripts. Im open to suggestions as this is my first map. Inkluding my first skripts. Special thanks to: Regallion Sorrontis yum234 builder17
Is there something wrong with this map? The island that has the Bertha on it, even though everything seems flat (around height 6 por 8?) I can't find anywhere to land a guppy or build anything over there.. the same on some of the other islands too...
There's an orange-coloured unit that you need to flood with AC in order to unlock the north-east part of the map...

Please provide some more information. There is no place to land/build anything on that side of the map. How can you flood with AC if you can't put a sprayer there?
Thanks,
H
It's the orange thing on an island with a blue portal.
The other island with a blue portal has CSM emitters that can be flipped and made to produce AC.

Thank you for responding, but I still can't figure out how to progress.
As nearly as I can tell, there is no place to build/land on the entire Eastern and Southern half of the map. With so many finishers, this is clearly a lack on my part but would like to finish it up.
Thanks,
H
Dump AC into the north-west red portal to start CSM part of the map.
No units needed, except the 400/0.5 emitter that needs to be taken out with a nullifier and a guppy. (Which will also destroy the CSM emitter nearby, so you may want to take over the south-east island with a yellow portal first.)
Thank you.
I've been dumping AC into that red portal for about 20 game minutes with no apparent affect.
Posting a screen shot for anyone to offer some advice.
Thanks again,
H

I think you aren't pushing red hard enough and you should be able to dump a significantly larger amount of AC into it. Spoiler below for what you might be missing:
Spoiler
It looks like half of your sprayers on the red stargate island are not on always on, they should be or they won't be helping you push.
I don't see your stargate blocker, if it is not already on one, place it on either of the two red stargates so you can push the other (I placed on bottom right and pushed the gate connected to yellow so not sure if pushing bottom right will work).
You are producing more AC than you are using, I am not sure by how much but I placed sprayers until I was using more AC than I was producing, I don't see any reason why overbuilding a few sprayers will have any negative consequences.
Ore efficiency upgrades can help a bit, but shouldn't make much difference and will not make any difference if you are not outputting enough AC to make use of the upgrades.
Spoiler
Thanks FS - what is a stargate blocker?
First I've read about it/them.
Thanks,
H
Stargate blocker is the thing at the bottom of the map on the small island with a green symbol spinning around it. When the game is unpaused click on the blocker then click on the stargate you want to block, while it is there it will disable that stargate.
Thank you.
I was out of the game for a couple/three years and I'm wondering if there are some prior versions of this "type of" map* that I should have played first?
Before reading your latest note I got curious about that spinning disk and started popping red dots all over the map.
Time to go back to my latest save and start again.
Thanks for the tips in the Spoiler post.

I hope this helps.(9:15~9:20)
The yellow emitter that goes down with the 400/0.5 emitter is a 900-1100 one. Nullifying that is a net loss.
I found that the 400 emitter could be more-or-less neutralized with a Guppy-fed Sprayer when combined with pushing through the gate. It would take quite some time until the island was flooded in AC, but then it doesn't matter much.
It might be possible to rush the inhibitors. There is an island that can hold a relay and a mortar to soften up the creeper layer, then send handful of sprayers and place a relay once there's a creeper-free space.
The orange crystal did nothing for me, despite being covered in 200+ AC.
Taking too long to make any progress at all. I got the red stargate pushed through and converted the 2 emitters down there, but can't really figure out what to do from here. No places to land. :(
Want to finish but stuck.
Finally a map with non default terrain colors, thanks lets see how it plays.
The concept of mixing classic and CSM is cool, the global level design is OK, but I think the SM part is not fun to play. There's too much level difference that make the creeper progression very very slow. Even in X4 speed, it takes hours to progress.
Keep going :)
I really like this map, and I'd be happy to see more maps like this!
For those who aren't sure what to do, I'd recommend searching "CSM" maps and just play them first. All of them. Well, a lot of them at least... they're great maps.
I couldn't bring myself to kill the emitter on the left as it would also kill my pressscious 1100/s AC emitter. Sure, it's not really needed but AC emitters are people too yanno. You can overrun the emitter, flip the switch, and then proceed to unlock the right side.
In most maps, once the creeper or AC gets to a depth of 500, it spills over into space. I didn't find a limit on this map - I had it up to 2,000 at one point and it just kept building. That's not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing, just an observation.
The fast-flowing creeper was kinda weird but with the amount of AC available, it wasn't a problem. And the flip emitters were much easier to just bomb than to nullify, imo.
Thanks for the cool map, Lanthanoide! Really neat ideas - keep up the good work ;D ;D
Finally found this map.
The interersting terrain and then the combination of CSM with regular elements made it interesting for about 10 mins then when you get to the CSM part with out having terps, no place to land and no place for any weapons just sucked the fun right out of it. Even 1 terp or a few land areas in the CSM portion would have been useful, What is the point when the only thing you can do is put it on 4x and then wait?
Yeah, the CSM aspects were interesting, but they were also sloooooow.
Good design ideas, not sure on the implementation.
