For my personal taste, this map is simply too big. After I have secured the bottom right and built some PZ berthas, there's really no danger of me losing the map. I have enough Aether to create a very, very long singularity. But the slog is a lot, for no visible improvement in gameplay.
I did absolutely love the complex layout of the bottom right corner though. That must have taken a lot of careful planning and outlay.

I found the game play quite interesting as a PZ bertha and a bunch of freeze and converts plus two spare CNs meant I could expand from the bottom right whilst taking out all the distant emitters in targeted attacks (PZ bertha, freeze, CN nullifier). First target was the spores though so they were only an initial threat. This gave a strange scenario where I was in effect attacking from the front whilst eroding the back.
