Started playing with the map editor and not unhappy with the result for a first map.

Indeed a nice map! I like the theme and geographical design. :)

Maybe a little too much energy to start with, so it's easy to advance fast. Probably a bit faster than intended, as I never suffered from the emitters in Italy and Spain, nor the spores.

I did mean the map to be doable before the spores and the contagion across Europe in line with the massive action taken by the EC ;D. I figured people could get this the second time.

Yes there was a lot of power, but Germany is one powerful country ;).

Have to spend some time playing with the various intensities etc. Hard to get the balance (I dont like the full on hard intensities).

Yeah, the hardest part is balancing the map (after determining the desired difficulty) and preventing the map from being finished with 'tricks' (that I rather call 'advanced techniques' ;)). Delayed emitters are always a risk (I try to cap them before they start).

I have to admit that it was pretty hard to finish it this fast; I restarted about 5-6 times. :P The main problem was the wall around Greece....

Great job for a first map!
