People keep talking about reversing the game, but it seems to me that we could just have everything vs the Creeper and have different missions with different groups. Like, Creeper, the humans, and the Ancients.
And you'd be following the time-honored tradition in RTS of having three distinct sides, each with their own units, buildings and abilities. For example, the Creeper would probably be the most unit-spammy of the three, and would power all its buildings (cept emitters) with it's own creeper. It can then build emitters, spore launchers, et cetera. OC is the middle, and the Ancients have the most powerful and versitile, but also the most expensive units. For example, instead of SAMs, they might have a flak gun that can also shoot on the ground, allbeit not very well and instead of Drones, they have ballistic missiles that cause massive damage!
Sorry, doesn't appeal to me. I like CW just the way it is (although I wouldn't mind some additions in CW2). Two sides are more than enough for me to handle....
It's an interesting idea, but I agree with KEES not that appealing. On a side note what rts other than Starcraft has 3 sides? All the ones I've seen have 4+. Hell, I've seen more with only two sides than I've seen with 3.
Check the Command & Conquer games for those with more than 2 sides.

Wasn't there a C&C game called Yuri's Revenge? ;D
TB, it's something like that.
I consider it a time-honored tradition, anyways.
Anyways, we ought to get back to the topic.
