Desc:
#CRPL Instructions: 0. Use Snipers to take out Drones. 1. Select terrain for digging with Left Mouse or Shift+X. Connect terrain to your network to dig selected terrain. 2. Place Siphons on Ore Mines to get AC. 3. Remember that Sprayers have an "Always On" mode that makes them act similar to CW2 Makers. 4. Dig out terrain under Gems and Technytes to uncover them, then use a Siphon to collect them. 5. Some terrain is slowly eroded in contact with the Creeper. #CW2

I'm a bit stuck on the last chamber:

Am I missing an obvious tactic for bringing down the creeper so I can get in there? The drones seem to spawn so much creeper that I can't break in. My game clock is at 24 minutes. I have 50+ mortars bombarding it with +1 fire rate, and after a couple minutes the average creeper level is still around 2000. It looks like the mortars may be killing the drones slightly faster than they spawn, but hits are essentially random, so as there get to be fewer drones they will also die slower, and I'm not sure equilibrium will be at a point where I'm actually making any headway. What gives?

You're not going to reduce the Creeper level until you open it.

Yes, I figured that out eventually, once I realized that would at least get rid of the drones, and decided "eh, nothing to lose by saving and trying it". I must say, though, it isn't really a whole lot of fun watching 50 mortars slooooooowly work down 2000-deep creeper. I'd prefer to see the depth capped at some large-but-more-reasonable value—300? 500?—so it doesn't take quite so long to cut through.

It's currently capped by the overflow limit.
