This is my first attempt at a PAC map. I'm not too happy with the balance, but I think it turned out ok overall. My main concern is how easy it is to steamroll the final area once you get a foothold; I found it difficult to balance things at the end since there were so many emitters to work with.. Perhaps I gave too many PZs in the first few areas. I think making my next map slightly larger will also help since I'll have more room to give Abraxis defenses. I found myself very limited by space for the last CN after painting myself into the corner.

In any case this has been a learning experience for me and I think I know a bit more about how to approach balance for future maps. If anyone with a lot of PAC experience has any other suggestions for how I could have balanced it better I'd be interested to hear other opinions as it may help me balance future maps.

I'm not that much fan of spores but it was fun.

You can ask Builder17 and Yum234 for the balance and the ratio of PZ. (J, stdout, hubs, and nuhages made some great PAC Map too but I don't know if they're still playing)

IMO don't worry for the end difficulty, there's not that much PAC map where the end is not too easy.

As for the map
The 1st island is easy and the second one is just a matter to cross the south void and land an emitter.
You're right for the number of PZ in the second island, too many and too close. Once you converted them to spore, it's a WMD.

For the third one, you may have add PZ Beam to force the player to change it's strategy from full spore to grinding the void

Overall, its a nice first map
