Title: Terping Void Space, is it possible?
Post by: Hyperion2950 on January 21, 2018, 09:49:25 PM
Is it possible to modify the Terp to create land from void space?

If so is there currently an existing script for a movable Terp like unit that would follow the Terra Form function like the terp does? or can some one get me pointed in the right direction for making something like this?

Well, terping markers don't stick to void, and are inaccessible by CRPL.

However, if you want to turn void into terrain, then one of planetfall's CS maps has a unit called a "Ptero-Former".

There is a slight bug that technically makes this possible in the editor. If you place terraforming markers, go into the editor, and change the tiles under the markers into void, the terp will then terraform them back to whatever you told it to originally. Since void is regarded as height 500 for creeper flow, the terp happens to also treat it that way... so it veeeery slowly returns to normal levels.
