podsSet a pod unpickable then you must defend it like you do by Odin City. You even don't need to pick it before you activate the rift.
bridgesA tool that the Creeper can flow under other land (the higher land is in fact the bridge) like height 2 whith a bridge of height 5.

Wall can destoyed by Creeper
Time before a wall disappear
Connections over wall allowed
Desroyeble wall (add a destroy button)
Spore directionSet a small sqare with buttons in the hooks and on the lines (8 buttons).
Click it to set "spores from this direction" on or off.
Bigger mapsDeactivate pauseFor maps like unviseble. Thats a time attack to find the right places for OC. On that map you can even press pause to find the right places. If pause is deactivated OC is destroyed in less than 2 minutes. When pause is deactivated players canclick on the score/time button to pause if he want to drink something (or something else). On that way players can't press pause and find the right places for OC.
EmittersAdd a + button to set the created Creeper above the already created Creeper.
Emitters turn off/on after some time. Emitters that turn on by hitting other Creeper.
Game idea's:fog of war ideaIf you start fog of war, a random map you have will be played in fog of war.

+15% more dmg
+15% splash
+15% more layers from the Creeper
packets move 20% faster
deactivate buildingsThe title say it allready. If you build a reactor (or something else) and you see the deficit go up and weapons have no ammo you want to deactivate that reactor(s).

storageStorage store packets (not raw energy) that have already created by OC. 10 ammo and 10 build. Mayby 5 ammo, 5 build, 5 totem and 5 raw. Even I want that the storage don't lose all stored energy i it's deconnect from OC. If it's store packets sometimes te depletion can higher than 32.
flamethrowerA very powerful weapon. Burns Creeper around it, but it has low range and high costs.
smog warHow more hi-tech stuff you have how stonger the creeper, how faster the spores and how darker the map. Whith hi-tech stuff I mean reactors, drones and the Thor. The collector and the blaster create very, very, very low smog. The flamethrower turns Creeper into smog.
smog war tools:LighthouseReduces darknes. Don't reduces Creeper power.
air refresherReduces smog with 5% per air refresher but it costs 0,95 packets per second.
Oooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I would really like fog of war!
But, slightly different from what you suggest. I simply don't want to know what the terrain is like and where the emitters are. Every building/weapon would remove the fog of war for as much as its area of effect.
This would make you restart maps more often because every map starts the same (i.e., your city and a tiny bit of area without fog of war.
This, of course, should be an option. This option would of course go nicely hand-in-hand with a random map option.
I like the idea of stronger creeper, have it color coded; blue normal, red is more durable, green grows faster, yellow does more damage...
smog of war would put a whole new perspective to the game.
maybe smaller maps too.
One I would like to see is more upgrade buildings, not just speed and storage: maybe one that increases power production or range of towers ect...
more military towers or maybe an option to reduce fire rate but increase damage..
