Great map! I really think you should have added credits somewhere though (description or start/end message), as is now I have no idea who participated in the creation. Thanks to everyone involved though, it's a fun map.

What do the yellow things do?  So far I determined that (for the near ones):

1. Red mire destroys them, blue mire does not
2. Enemy lathes destroy them, my lathes do not
3. They draw green lines to my emitters
4. When they die, they leave energy resources behind

The enemy on the left appears to have two that draw green lines to enemy emitters and don't die to red mire, so presumably those are "enemy" ones I should destroy while the ones near me are "friendly" ones I should protect.  But what do they do?

EDIT: Apparently they increase the energy production of their corresponding mine by 3 (before tech bonuses).  I'm still not sure what triggers them to start.

Corresponding energy source (or other unit) gets more power.

Some on the left power those land-cannons, others supercharge the energy sources left by mire spawners.

As far as i Know [corret me if i am wrong] this is the Maker per square list :
Top Left      = GoodMorning
Top Middle    = Cpaca
Top Right     = FOXX
Middle Left   = PlanetFall
Center        = Cpaca
Middle Right  = GoodMorning
Bottem Left   = FOXX
Bottem Middle = PlanetFall
Bottem Right  = FOXX

It was definitely a interesting map, I just needed to figure out how all the custom stuff worked before I could speed run it.

Ninja'ing the Top middle thing at the start also helped speed things up.

We'd meant to put in proper descriptions before uploading, but this PTM fizzled.

The top-middle area took a bit of balancing, but was designed for that purpose.
