...which limits the end game a little for me as you have to wait around for the aether to build up. May be possible with PZ bombers etc but can't see it being very easy!
D0m0nik, it should be possible to take out the four red-corner-things for an earlier win... If you are fast enough. (I'm not)
How the Hell am I supposed to beat this? I keep getting caged in, and just as I start getting enough aether to begin expanding, everything dies.
Well, that's the question, isn't it? I don't know that I did...
If you played the story to completion, you will recall Farbor, the timed mission. This is the same, but for the terrain and object placement. (Actually, some Emitters might have been adjusted too...)
Farbor, to this day, drives off and frustrates many newer players. planetfall is the one who gave us "What if We Tried More Power" and "Turkos Prime". This is what happens when the two are mixed.
