How did Alter Old get his/her time? I've tried frame advance but that doesn't get me a better time

For anyone not sure what to do about the squggly thing in the left corner, just build different weapons and see what happens.

same here. I got the 0,5 second slower time as well, and I have no idea what I can do in a different way
