Using infomation foun on the ancient Mothership provided with The crew of the Nature's Providence with a set of rift co-ordinets. When they jumped they found the Destiny. The ship was later took over the shannon class' mission when she was destroyed, then she helped the surivors of the Iota Andromedae attack reclaim Andromeda.
