So many friendly spores that about the only way you can lose is simply sit there for ages until you're overrun.

I beat it with no weapons other than nullifiers.

Build your base on the green elevated terrain in lower right and Friendly spores will swamp all enemy emitters. Think of it more as a speed-run type map than anything else. :)
