I will look on here tomorrow and tell how unless someone else figures it out (go ahead if you like to ) not sure how many will get it. Its really not that hard just don't put your gun to close, and look at your build costs. The more power you eat the more spaces you have to eat...

I fail to see the challenge here. There's no creeper, no issue whatsoever. In fact, I think you just created a map that shouldn't be in Colonial Space.

Making all built siphons unselectable by CRPL would prevent player destroying packs, not sure how good idea would that be.

Ok, CRPL variation of this map. Constructive criticism, please?

I mean that 4353 test.cw3 in attachments of this post.

See that CRPL core in image under? It has script that can be used to make siphons fully unselectable.

I see what you're trying to do... create a "how fast can I drain power" kinda map. I guess that's ok, but it would be better if you could combine it with some kind of threat as well. Dunno if that's do-able or not.

As a speed map, there are still some things to think about in order to get the fastest time. It threw me off that the top packs aren't on 3x3 blocks but 2x3. Someone might be able to hit under the 50-sec mark though... dunno.

There is a threat, the emiiter starts at ~2 minutes. However as said before, this map is a bit of a fail, since

the author probably didn't know that you can destroy resource packs.

I didn't know it eighter (until I saw the low score times and tried the map again) and actually had a good time trying to figure out how to get things done in time and had to restart the map saveral times.

Hmm, ok. There have been a few similar maps like this where you can destroy the resource pack. That shouldn't be a spoiler since it's a very useful tool. There was a discussion about that about 6-7 months ago I think.

Btw, don't click on "destroy" after building the siphon. That just destroys the siphon and then you have to do it all over again. Not... not that I've done that, of course. I'd never press the wrong buttonGHYRBNER

How can you disable the ability to destroy an energy pac? My map would be a little harder to finish if I could implement  that. Thanks for any info...

You cannot have a Siphon able to drain the pack. Using OperateWhilePaused, GetAllUnitsInRange and SetUnitIsSelectable, you can set up Siphons which cannot be selected for anything, including use of that order.

That's about all you can do, though.
