The long mountain will take everything you have to climb! a few items are limited or expencive so it will take some thinking to get to the top. Note that spores start pretty early in the game so get ready!
It really isn't a bad map, I just question the value of making the Terp so expensive and scarce. Just seem to slow down progress. Maybe having 1 terp means one has to make better decisions on what and how much to terp (good), but since neither energy nor space is that much at a premium, why slow down the build time so much?
Or you can just click "ludicrous speed" on your ship, stick the terp on a PZ and terp everything. I liked the map well enough - since it's small I can run at much higher speeds, so it only takes a few minutes real-time to finish. But the high cost for a terp (and bertha) was a little annoying.
Logan, you could also have more of a spore threat early in the game so we'd have something else to focus on while we're waiting for the terp to build... just a thought.
