The Super Carrier is the only ship with two Ports and four Guppys. It was more wide than long, so again a Fighter bay was not an option. For self-defense it uses two Missiles, six Particle Beams and fivteen(15) Lasers. For maximum efficiency place it outside of an energy node but connect to it via another port. Than place your fleet in such a way, that each ports serves one half of it.
