Too big for its own good. And that laser core doesn't have the range to be useful (save in emergencies). Better, perhaps, to leave them out and use the hull to armour the front.
In short, bring the fighter bays in closer, and forward. Maintain other modules by scrapping some lasers. And always remember that you need to power it.
