I was all set to play, until I noticed the lack of totems. So yea, your description is correct... "grind" - I'll pass.

As far as "grind" goes, if you have a mod that enables you to play at 10x speed, maps like this really don't take long at all. Granted, it's not as fun as a map that has totems but it's not an absurd grind.

To Kryfrac - Thanks for making maps! Most people would appreciate upgrades (totems), but that also can make the map easier, so feel free to ramp up the spores and/or emitters if you include totems

Most players also like AC as well, which will also make it easier so you can ramp up the danger even more to compensate.

Hope this helps - Cheers!  :)

What is this mod you're referring to?

There's a speedhack in several different programs I've seen over the years. Cheat Engine is probably one of the most popular ones. Although some people use it to actually cheat in the game, I don't see the point in that since it keeps the challenge and accomplishments from being 'real'. But I do like to be able to play through a game in real time real fast - that's real fun!

There are still limits to how fast the game can run though, depending on your computer and such. It doesn't help with the really huge maps - unless you have a seriously sweet machine.

Hope that helps, m8!  ;D
