Build five omnis and land them next to the emitter. They'll blow it up before they die, and you win.
The map looks like you're supposed to claim area and fight your way in with omnis. Perhaps it would be a more interesting fight with some strong anti air forces in the northeast, so you can't just fly omnis in?
