I just wanted to share an idea I had for the next KC game. Basically it's just all games combined in one:
Attack solar systems overtaken by the creeper (Particle Fleet)
Secure the planetary surface(s) (CW 1/3)
Destroy the last pockets of resistance hiding below the surface (CW2).
Discover lost technology, resources etc., repopulate liberated sytems and eventually take back the universe.
Really cool idea
I would say that a fan game might be the closest we'll get to that idea.
CW3 CRPL (And it's engine in general) might allow you to do that now.
