So watching the trailer, and the hype for the hopeful release soon, I have to say, the trailer blew me away. I was always hyped for the game, but this trailer was so well done, and I just can't wait to start playing. (side note, throing money at my screen, is not making me get it sooner it seem).
Just wondering, are the rest of you hyped?
I am (as always).
Heck yeah!
It think that trailer music was enough to get me hyped for anything.
I'm more hyped rn than when I heard I got into the college I wanted.
so my birthday party was today and I got $100+....
TAKE IT VIRGIL!!!!!!! TAKE IT ALL!!!
(okay I'm mostly kidding, I'd probably pay $30-40 realistically)
I have to agree, the music and the scene, where very awesome. It got me so hype, I am on the hype train, woo woo!
I can't wait!!! I've actually stopped CW3 for a while, been playing other things, but I'll be back for PF!

Im really interested to see the custom ships and weapons make for PF. Already PF has a great variety of weaponry, but the fact that anything you use can and will be used against you really throws a great mechanic in. Oh, you like your MK7s or custom super long range devastators? You'll love when the enemy ships are savaging your fleet from across the map with them.
Edit: After writing this, I thought of a question for virgil about the whole enemy ships mechanic. Are the enemy ship spawners preset to spawn a certain vehicle and only that vehicle, or does it have the ability to pick from a roster of ships that can escalate in strength according to your "escalation factor" you mentioned?
Regardless of what is actually built into the game type spawners (if they even exist), you can probably create ships via PRPL, and so can create such an escalation factor if none exists. Perhaps that is how Virgil is actually doing it in the campaign... PRPL is very powerful.
Some news from steam discussions forum that you may have missed:

What I am considering doing is releasing the free demo ahead of the launch. That would give some opportunity to build community hype and also give me a chance to identify any common issues that might occur... which would make me more confident in the quality of the general release.

You mean *this* PRPL?
:D
LOL, but no. Particle Reverse Polish Language is PRPL.
I've been hyped for so long. Tell us how it is beta testers. I can't wait to try it after you guys. Getting back into Cw3 to hype myself up.

The first rule in Beta testing, is that they don't talk about Beta testing!
Seeing as you made my favourite CW2 map of all time (The Hotel), I'm really happy that you're hyped, and I'm looking forward to seeing the maps you'll come up with for Particle Fleet.
Soon (as in a week or two) there will be a press preview version... at that point anyone in beta can talk about the game, post videos, screenshots, etc. In fact I'll encourage it... the more the merrier. I might even do a twitch, youtube, or beam (whatever the thing is these days) live stream at some point.
I'm checking my email every day hoping to get beta invite, I know i won't get one but still... ;D
I been watching the videos, I feel like such a pro, I can't wait for the game, and also you guys to show me, i have a lot to learn, lol.
Anyone else getting the new game twitch. It where you know a new game, that you want it really son, but you need to wait a little longer still. Cause I got that right now, lol.
Is there a wiki for PF coding? You know I'm jumping right into it.

The difference between CRPL and PRPL is just one letter. I think the crpl docs pages will be sufficient to prepare for prpl (though only for about 75%).

I've had it since maybe june, though its increased in strength by a ton in the past month. I reaaaaaallly don't want to have to wait another full month, but at the same time I really want the game to be as awesome as possible so I'll be thoroughly impressed by it.
I haven't noticed. I will likely enjoy it when it is here, and have started on a PRPL wishlist, but I don't bother anticipating it. (Also, remaining in ignorance throughout development means that I get the entire game in a package, rather than having strange expectations strung out everywhere.)
For PRPL, I doubt that anything but the I/O will change significantly (though I hope for a few utilities to help with many-Core scripts). The I/O replacement will be needed, as we don't have much use for SetCreeperNoLower and its ilk.
PRPL must be quite different in terms of what we can do. There's just so much more.
And look at what CRPL did.
Regardless, I'm waiting til the full game. I'll figure it all out then
Agreed.
Finally it September. I know, that the hopeful date not till the end of the month, but if we do hit it, we now have less then a month to play, this is exciting.
Epic Fantasy Battle 3, just release on steam, and for free too. I found a game to play while waiting for Particle fleet.

So how that press version is coming? It's been around two weeks. Can't wait to see more gameplay videos.
Which game reviewers' channels do you watch?
Big one's:
https://www.youtube.com/user/know
https://www.youtube.com/user/MMORPGSU
https://www.youtube.com/user/Rhykker
https://www.youtube.com/user/ohnickel
Also few small channels with random lets plays.
The Know, or most likely someone from Achievement hunter/rooster teeth, is a interesting idea, though I can't say how well that might go, though I have check out at least 2 games because I saw them play it first. 7days to die and portal knight, so you never know too. I only say, I can't say I ever seen them play a game like this before.
