Good job. Didn't seem like Relays could bridge to the Guppy, but it was the only way, so I covered the "coastlines".... perhaps slightly more room/more obvious location for the Relays? (Guppy tech was the last objective on the map, for me) Balancing is improving. Collector under CN tech was hit by Spore, possibly unintended...
Not having the Guppy yet, I discovered that CS can exchange power in-flight, and can pseudo-Guppy power over to Nullify the Spore Tower. (Also, something I am not clear on in this series: what is Odin? Computerised, I understand, but... City-sized ship, android, or chip in a device Terexin carries? Or something else entirely?)
help please, i cant reach the guppy, ty
It is possible (just) to get a Relay over the gap to that island. Air units and/or a Mortar assault can clear the way.
Odin is actually an AI system that Terexin discovered when returning to Hope before the Hades was there. Odin was inactive, so he didn't realize that Odin was attacked and corrupted by the Creeper. Once Terexin built the Odin Nexus, he decided to insert Odin into it. Of course, it malfunctioned and became a strong(ish) source for the Hades.
But enough about that.
Odin is basically an ancient AI experiment built by the Commander of Odin City, made to travel the galaxy destroying all Creeper. When Hope was attacked, the Odin we know became real.
Like the tie-in with this and the CW tutorial?
I have only played the web games of the first CW. And I think I'm losing bits of backstory everywhere...
If you did the tutorial map on User Space, then you would still know what I'm talking about.
I did it, but years ago....
Feel free to go back at anytime. I still go there occasionally.
What's the point in the guppy? By the time I picked it up the final nullifier was charging.
Probably it's intended for the Spore Tower island. It would be faster than my method, but I can't be bothered doing a replay.
Once you have the second CN it's no big deal to kill the spore with a flyover, I found it easier than getting the guppy.
Agreed, same here. The right triangular flight path, and the 2 CNs can each dump full loads into the Nullifier. Or, for those who love efficiency, you can make each trip shorter by having the CNs link up partway, supplying 1/2x power at >2x rate, due to flight shortening.
Since you need the Guppy tech anyway, getting it first is probably faster, because the Guppy has more capacity (1 trip) and moves faster, despite the time to build it.
