help please, i just got jumped by a bunch of spores and not enough energy due to limited energy building,
how to avoid this? ty

Personally I'm not a great fan of thee "helter-skelter" maps where the limiting factor is how fast I can build nullifiers on PZs.

Why, you get energy siphons and 10 x zero-cost reactors. As well as a pre-built forge. You should be able to plan it out without too much trouble.

It is plenty of energy if you have a few beams on PZ's before the first wave. PZ beams are much more efficient.

I thought it was going to be your normal slog... but there were a few nasty surprises as I started making progress. Keeps you on your toes near the end!

If it's the 25-spores-every-5-seconds flood that starts at 20 mins then your best hope is zapping the responsible tower (lower middle) before it completes building.
