Tests os a few concepts. An autonomous prototype shield. A huge airborne structure that multiplies Creeper. And something mysterious that requires world sterilization to destroy. #CRPL Opinions? (As ever, feel free to borrow, steal, or be inspired by this.)
Not a hard map, if you know the method.
Specifically:

There's plenty of time to build Collectors over the top of the map.
As those build, run a line straight from the orange structure to the big one.
Deactivate appropriately to stop the orange one from being powered while the grid builds.
Also build Shields and basic weapons on the line down to the ring, this should protect the Collectors.
Allow the orange structure to get power.
Use a Relay or two to get power to it when it stops.
Add a Nullifier or two to the area thus shielded.
Mop up Creeper.
If the orange thing annoys you, don't use it, or use a bit of power management to get it back to it's starting point afterward.
I'm looking for feedback, this is a concept map only. Still, gets a bit difficult if you wait too long to hit the big structure (The 2K-ish Creeper limit.)
I think I beat to too quickly to see it in action.

CN1: Fill the top with collectors from right to left.
CN2: Top of ridge to help connect everything.
CN3: Front line. Build mortars quickly to contain creeper on one side.
Once things are connected you have plenty of energy to spare. Build cannons to help nullify one corner. Terp some height to make cannons able to fight. Second nullifier was building on PZ when your big thingie was arriving.
Mop up.

Interesting idea but there seems to be one draw back in that the shield needs to be powered to work. If you can get close enough to charge it over the enemy then you are probably close enough to kill the enemy!
I agree it wasn't balanced. The shield needs work, and so does the doubler. I have an idea for a shield factory, but it will have to wait until I have time for it.
The scripts are here. The last one may have applications in a no-Emitter map.
