Last of promised in our Forum game. Big and with a lot of tricks. :)
help please ,spoiler please
I have played and liked most of the maps by Yum, However this one is tedious and not very fun for me, Any map where I have to use "p" just to get a foot hold is IMO not worth playing.
One of your best maps! Thoroughly enjoyed it... :)

Really in this map necessary use "p" and to think about next tactic and strategy. Sorry, please.

Thank You!
Judging by Your score You are not find all special "Bickford area"... :)
This "trics area" helps win faster. Please, test it by "loaded sniper".
Any help would be appreciated i keep dying when the 777 spores come :( cant seem to get enough spore towers. Def not getting it. thanks in advance

This unusual game was created as a puzzle game. This game is better to play as if playing chess. To make a move, pause ("p"), think about the following tactic.
The second feature of the game is that almost all the time lacking energy and weapons. These parameters mathematically (logically) were calculated.
And the third feature of the game: the game has 4 zones "Bickford surprise", which helps to play.
At the first stage of the game, it is important to provide itself with energy and weapons. This Game is multivariate so you can play in different ways.
For example, one strategy:
Build 2 CN at the left and right at the top part of map. There is based the initial energy. Part of this energy use for building
of 2 "loaded sniper" and send it to the central part of the map (where the brown cross). And starts a chain reaction (Bickford) and You will receive place for a third CN and new energy sources and weapons. Using this strategy, You can build the defense from "777"! :)
The game is so multi-variant so You can use other approaches in other "Bickford zone"...
Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, This is just not the style I enjoy playing, Overall I have enjoyed almost all of your maps. Thanks for making them and please don't let my negative comment stop you from making more.
Cheers
Yum's explanation might take some time to figure out, but what he's saying is right. This map is a lot like chess, so you WILL want to pause after each "move", then think about your next move. I found myself pausing until about 10 minutes of game time, at which point I just let it run (Pausing eventually takes more real-life time than it saves).
I didn't use any of the "tricks" Yum mentions but I didn't have any problems doing it slowly and methodically. Obviously, you'll want to grab the nullifier, so land a CN near it and grab it with a collector. You can move your CN and grab other stuff while the other two are building bases (where Yum suggested).
I liked this map. It's not really a "puzzle map" in the sense that you HAVE to figure out the "trick" to win. (Hint: You have AC sprayers but no mines... where does the AC come from, do you suppose? Hmmm...)
Thanks for the map, Yum!
P.S. - If you start at map #1 and play each map up to this one, by the time you get to it you'll have figured out how to do it. ;D

WOW! WOW! WOW! Really it is possible very easy to get nullifier! In next version "BIG BICKFORD-2" it will be not so easy! :)
Thank You!
Yeah, I don't know that I would change the nullifier thing- it doesn't make the map easy or anything. I really thought you intended to put it where someone could get it if they were smart enough. Not that you have to be brilliant, just observant. ;)
As big as the map is, it's good to leave several different approaches open. But I won't bicker about the Bickford ;D
Not only can you collect the nulifier early but you can also take out a spore and put a beam on it! You may have to re-land a CN a couple of times though.

Yes. It was build-in possibility how to protect "777 spore". Helpfull trick :)
There is no need to endure more than "77" spores.
Spoiler
You have guppies and nullifiers. Use them.
I didn't find this difficult and I really like this style: you don't have to do anything in a prescribed order. There no need to everything just right or you're screwed. Lots of choices.
It's nearly perfect, just a bit too long for my taste. You made me stay up too late ;)

There are exist a lot of more longer maps... :)
Sorry!
Aye, Yum! And the longer maps are not as good as yours! ;D
The thing I've come to realize is this: In most maps the REAL challenge is done in the first few minutes. After that, it's just "mopping up" (eventually overpowering the creeper and winning). I think Jerdog's point is that he enjoyed the challenge of getting a foothold, but too much "work" can get to be tedious. However, some people seem to like the long, epic, mopping-up-style battles. To each his own, I suppose.
Keep up the map-making! ;D
Cool map, although felt a bit like too much of moping up.
PS: I hate that game requires to pick up all shield keys to win - I scanned whole map with nullifier before I remembered that.
