Fun, took a couple minute to figure out the proper way, but it was not to bad.
I try to create something new! :) Thank You for good words!

Thank You!
But next map with unusual start seems bad... Rating -1! Cool!

Ignore the Colonial space ratings. They're usually people that start but then rage quit and vote 1.

I would like an honest assessment. Because the creator of maps wants to make life in Creeper World more interesting...
Wow, that's a lot of quotes there :)
I try to comment on any good maps I come across, or maps that COULD be good if one or two things were changed. Or maps that are just stupid. LOL. Guess I comment on lots of stuff eh?
But Longfellow is right. Many players are new or not very good at figuring things out. And that's ok - it's just a game anyway. But people who can't figure out a map will just give it a "1". I have a few theories as to why this is:
1) That's as high as they can count.
2) They think that it's a rating scale with "1" as the highest, and they realize the map beat them so they're acknowledging that the map bested their skills.
3) They think if they can't figure out something, then the thing itself must be inferior.
4) They think if they rate it "1" then they will win the lottery, because everyone knows the lottery is a great way to make money.
5) They are part of a secret government agency whose agenda is to undermine the happiness of creative people, especially people who make maps in CW3. They have infiltrated our group and it's only a matter of time before they find my location and block my transmissi... *bzzzt*

I like explanation 4)! :)
Regarding rating:
I use the ratings as a guide to how enjoyable the maps are. Not how difficult they are.
I rate maps on how likely it is that I replay them. I never rate a map that I have not finished. I have, however, once or twice finished a map and rated it 1.
This yum234 map is fine, although a bit repetitive for the last two islands
Forget ratings Yum, your maps are excellent and your are a very talented map maker up there with the best. Thanks for making them! ;D
I agree... and please understand that I wasn't saying everyone who rates a map as "1" does that because it's too difficult. People who find a map too difficult will often rate it as a "1". Not everyone who rates a map as a "1" finds it too difficult. Some maps just stink like a moldy wet sock. Just wanted to make sure my logic circles were in the right place ;D
Yum was a prolific map maker in CW2. He tried his hand at CW3 early on, apparently didn't like it then. We're sure glad he's returned now. Welcome back. :)

This! My absolute favorite maps in CW2 were yum's puzzle maps. I was quite happy to see him come back to CW3.

Nice to see his maps inspiring comment on the forums.
Coolness! 8) I've enjoyed several of Yum's maps so far... definitely look forward to many more! (But no pressure, mate - just do them as you feel like doing them) You rock! ;D
