Desc:
A small, puzzling world. Tread carefully, for this world can be made impossible by heavy-handedness. Be evenhanded. You will need to restart otherwise. This is a test bed for an idea. #CRPL (But you knew that already.)

The description and opening dialogue are useful here. I do try to make them entertaining.

The trick here:

Two cores are invulnerable.

The regenerator is the only thing which will regenerate on the map.

Damage is evenly distributed between all but the central core.

Regeneration is about 50x normal speed, but that means 10x when split over the 5 cores.

Still stuck? Hit the cores to total six Nullifier hits, but don't break any in the process. This breaks the regenerator.
The rest is an easy cleanup. Just blast away with Nullifiers, recalling that damage is still distributed.

Was it meant it's possible to nullify regenerator right from beginning?

Yeah I dunno about this one. Wasn't what I expected - I built lots of reactors to power lots of nullifiers, then once I built them stuff died and the game was over. Not sure what to make of this one.

No, I didn't intend the regenerator to be nullifiable. I did reconstruct all of the cores in the final version, for testing reasons, so I must have missed a script variable...

Apologies if it was a let-down. I'm developing a concept, and should have a related concept in a more developed form done soon.

Thanks. I think the ideas I have had were steadily less well-received.

I hope that I can change around the use and make something that's a lot of fun.

What about some very tough Emitters that are supported at the back of the map by weaker, fast-healing ones?

Or some which are very vulnerable, but have lots of health, sharing with some that are invincible but weak?

Feel free to borrow the code and implement this, if you like. I would like to see one of the ideas I put out implemented by someone with greater map-making skill.

That might work... It might also be interesting to make a mod where emitters would only be vulnerable if they were destroyed together in a group. So you'd have to set 4 nullifiers to kill this particular group of 4 emitters. Dunno if that'd be fun or not. Might be more of an aggravation. But it would be at least interesting, heh heh.

I would guess that it would be more irritating than fun, and that it would be hard to do, unless you pre-specified the groups.

Still... there are possibilities here. I'll have a go in a while.
