The start is a nightmare!
I can see a lot of people giving up on this as the nulifier tech appears impossible to get. I spent ages trying to work out how to get there assuming there was some sneaky way to get there. There isn't!
Having said that I think these maps are brilliant and a really cool challenge, great example of how to limit techs and make a difficult map. You don't need big emitters if you are clever!
Kalek, I really like your maps! I didn't see an easy way to get at the nullifier tech so I just figured I'd build and hammer and see what happens. Hammering works fine on this map btw. I like that stuff is scattered but that the maps aren't the size of Jupiter. I like that it's challenging but not so much that you want to quit. It's a great balance of strategy & fun - excellent work, Kalek!
kalek you've inspired my next map.
It's a real nightmare to fight to the first nullifier!
Hi, thanks for your messages. Sorrontis, Iam trying your "inspired" map for two day... but I am still lost in space... But I'll find !

Check my my thread, THere's a few little hints :)
Another baffler for me. I didn't find it hard. Just hard to do fast.
Had to find a 6 year old map to do this, but now I have a picture of the impossible.
;)
Thanks,
H
Ha! :D
Time score of H234 better than time score of D234!!! :D
BTW: Mapmaker Kalek so creative! Almost all his maps unusually interesting and with original ideas and features!
Surely recommend to play all Kalek's maps!
nice map, although the limited resources and a fight just to get the basic tools, like the nullifier, is discouraging. On top of that there is some thinking about how to proceed.

Waving a red rag at a Bull there H ;D ;)
Sorry, couldn't resist :o
Absolutely understand. I knew you would come back and beat all the humans.
I might have another go to see if I can catch a couple of them myownself.
(Very nice score!)

OOoooo! Do I smell the challenge of a contest? There's no way I can resist, you know... I'm going to have to...
*Grabs popcorn & soda, puts the recliner back & turns on the BIG computer screen*
Ah, yeah there we go! Ready to watch the contest now - you guys have at it and please put on a good show! 8)
Nay, nay! Not really a challenge (because it would be no contest).
I had to do it on a six year old map, which was before D0minance was hitting his stride.
Clearly, he went back and updated the stats, and all I have is a picture of what once was.
But who knows, there might be another such example out there.
I'll keep you posted.

Look how far I am still from Alter Old! GOAT
Yeah, he's... I dunno. Some kind of bot, I think. Advanced AI from the future that plays games while extrapolating information from every byte of data worldwide - either to destroy us all or to thwart some extinction-level event.
Once, I significantly beat his score on one particular map by seeing a trick I guess he'd missed. I held onto that lead for almost a month and was awarded a leading role on the board of SpaceX as a result of beating his score. A few dead relatives even came out of the grave momentarily to congratulate me and some pigs flew by my house as they shot fireworks into the air in celebration of my monumental achievement.
But just as all that was happening, Alter Old decided to try the map again and he obliterated my score. So Elon laughed in my face, handed me a mop & broom and told me to get back to work. The pigs' fireworks ended up burning my house to the ground, and my dead relatives stole my car and drove it into the lake because apparently death was better than being associated with me. It wasn't a good day.
So I learned my lesson very well: Don't. Even. Try. And that's why the potato chips and popcorn are here. ;)
