Colonial space, projects, tormented and prospector zones are all locked and have the padlock symbol, all say 'unlock via arc missions'. When I go into Arc or Alpha my progress is still there and I have completed all levels. Strange.
I have restarted the computer a couple of times, anything else I can try?
Look at this file on your system:
c:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\CreeperWorld3\GameSettings.xml
In there you will find "unlock" lines that look like this:
<unlockProspector>True</unlockProspector>
Make sure they say "True", not "False". Edit this file with any text editor when the game is not running.

Thank you for your quick response.
There is no Creepworld3 in the roaming folder, I only have a Microsoft and a macromedia file.
That probably explains the source of the problem... maybe.
Are you running the steam version of the game?
Did you do anything odd recently like change user accounts, log into another account, etc.
If you have other user accounts, look under them to see if you have a creeperworld3 directory.
Thank you, it was under different user. It is now fixed as you first described.
The problem happened when Windows updated, I seem to always have issues whenever it updates, time to turn the auto updates off I think!
