Wow great, tough map!  Plenty of room to build.  Just enough time to get defences ready.  And getting a foothold on the "spider" is in the top 5.  Excellent map, thanks!!

I didn't find the spider hard to get onto.  Strafers on a foot, a PZ-bertha shot to clear out most of the creeper and then the bombers on the leg.  That kept the creeper at bay long enough to nullify a foot and then it's PZ took out the rest of the feet on that side.  Getting defenses up in time at the start was another matter, though.

I actually found this one frustrating. Berthas to disarm the runner's nest, more berthas to kill of all the bugs, and they still take forever. And when I am finally ready to land, a tendril of digitalis reconnects the runner's nest.  >:(

3 PZ enabled berthas maintained the runner nest clear of digitalis.

What's the problem?  Once took a set of legs as described above I guppied in plenty of power and started pushing.  Add plenty of snipers.  Sure there was some stunning but not enough to be a big deal.  Once I had the body I built up a small base there before taking the tail.
