I am getting a new computer and I want to keep playing CW3 but I do not want to have to redo everything I have done. Can I just copy the folder that CW3 is installed in or is it more complicated than that?
If you use the steam version, you don't have to do anything. Game progress is stored inside you documents folder (...\(My) Documents\creeperworld3), not your installation folder. Copy your ...\documents\creeperworld3 folder to the documents folder on your new computer if you don't use steam and you should have your progress restored.
In this very same support board, there is a topic that is suspiciously close to your's - it's pinned at the top and it says:

Try the advice in there.
