Several strategies possible.
1. go asap to get Thor technology.
2. solid build up from the back.
Anyway, pick up the technologies you need.

Really fun game.
Took me about 5 re-starts to quit cussing and get it right.

It's faster to do it without Thor.

Definitely get your cannons to block access to the runner nests.
I built a Bertha on a PZ. Also built 7-8 sprayers. After a hit with a Bertha on a corner of the island, put your sprayers on and nullify. Thor is overkill.

My score was with a Thor, but I'll try it again your way and see if I can beat what I already posted.
You might consider trying the Thor again.
