I have done everything I can in the previous systems but cant progress to the next system. Any one know why?

Try this...
Take the attached inhibited.dat and overwrite the one you have (backup yours first). Do this while the game is not running.
The file goes here:
c:\Users\YOUR_USER\Documents\creeperworld3\data\inhibited.dat

For some reason, the game doesn't think you have destroyed the inhibitor in the system you are trying to leave. When you play the mission in a system that has the inhibitor, and destroy the inhibitor, that should get recorded in the inhibitor.dat file. That file is what gets checked by the game to determine if the next sector is open.
I suspect that in some very rare cases steam cloud sync overwrites the file with an older version, the file gets locked, or any of a similar set of issues cause this problem.
