Here is a list of all Play as Creeper maps. Most can be found by searching for #PAC or #PlayAsCreeper, but not all have those tags. I plan on updating this list as new maps come out. This list, and other Play As Creeper topics, are also mirrored on the wiki. (http://knucklecracker.com/wiki/doku.php?id=cw3:creeper_world_3#PAC)
Legend:
N - New map (added in the last week)
B - Beginner map (start here if you're new to PAC maps)
E - Expert map (very difficult maps)
S - Small map (under 100x75)
L - Large map (over 150x150)

Added two more maps from Xeos (actually an original then updated copy), and a map from new PAC author Nuhages!
I want to say a really big Thank You to all those making the Play as Creeper maps, you are all doing an amazing job and please keep them coming. At this point they are almost the only maps I play.
Two more maps added:
#1599 - Arc Eternal Redemption - Power Supply (Part 3) (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17812.0) by Hubs
#1600 - Nuhage N#55 pac (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17813.0) by Nuhages
Thank you for this, Hubs! I haven't seen this thread before, but I was afk for a little while. It's really appreciated. :)
Thanks for doing this! This will fuel our voracious PAC appetite for quite a while. Instead of looking through dozens of pages of maps, I get to sit back and gorge! 8)
No problem!
By the way, if I have missed any, let me know so I can add it.
New one by J was just posted.
Here's one by Richard333 - forum link:
http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17824
J's and Richard333's map has been added.
Added a new one for Xeos: Hyper Tower Annihilation (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17826.0)
J just added a new one: MiniPACLand (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17828.0)
At this rate I expect one from J every day now ;D
Haha - stewbasic's created a monster, eh? :D
But Hubs, I'm thinking you're going to be rather busy with this thread (but hopefully not too busy to create PAC maps of your own!)
Don't worry, I have one coming out soon. Just need to play test and balance. It's my first huge PAC map (250x250), so I want to make sure every inch is worth playing.
Don't expect a rate of one per day, I might make them faster as they become smaller, but someday my inspiration will run dry :P
How about some color-coding in this thread? Green for the ones that you can play if you've never played PAC maps before and red for the ones you need a lot of experience for. Where to draw the line? Don't give a map a difficulty rating if your not sure so that only a few maps stand out. It's up to the player to decide if it's a 'play me' or 'skip me' sign. Perhaps italicize the easy maps and bold the hard maps for color-blind.
That's a great idea J! How about a color coded legend like this:
N - New map (added in the last week)
B - Beginner map
E - Expert map
L - Large map (anything over 150x150)
Then put the colored letter next to the map name like this:
#1599 - Arc Eternal Redemption - Power Supply (Part 3) (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17812.0) BN
How shall beginner/expert maps be determined? I could just look for comments in this thread and if I see 3+ votes to flag as beginner or export I'll update it.
DEVIOUS ARACHNID I and II are definitely E for the unprepared.
New map legend has been added and maps have been labeled. For the beginner/expert labels, I set them to what I thought they were. If you think a map is a good beginner map or is insanely difficult, let me know and I'll update the rating.
I think Creeper Storm (#1497) is good for beginners because it's friendly and easy.
New map (by J):
#1616 - TinyPACland (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17837.0) S
It's probably one of the harder maps, but I'll leave it to others to decide if it is hard enough for an E rating
S - Small (anything under 3000 cells)
S - Small (anything under 100x75)
Two more maps added:
#1618 - Planet X954S2 (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17839.0) NL by Hubs
#1626 - Nuhage N#56 (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17853.0) N by Nuhages
Also, flagged Creeper Storm as beginner and TinyPACland as expert. Haven't played Nuhages new map, but I'm guessing that will be expert as well :)
New map added:
#1633 - Arc Eternal Redemption - Split Decision (Part 4) (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17871.0) N
I also finally played Nuhages 3rd map, and just like the others it's super tough, so I flagged that one as expert. I'm just going to assume all of his will be expert :)
3 new maps
#1636 - MicroPACland (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17878.0) NS
#1638 - Nuhage N#57 (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17881.0) N
#1642 - NanoPACland (http://knucklecracker.com/forums/index.php?topic=17886.0) NS
We've got a new PAC author: Thumbmaster! His new map has been added to the list.
I was thinking the wiki would allow concurrent updates by multiple authors, so I started sections there:
http://knucklecracker.com/wiki/doku.php?id=cw3:creeper_world_3
Howver, I got tired/bored/had to go walk a dog/saw a squirrel/ and didn't complete. Guess it can stay as-is or someone with interest can take it over.
To edit the table of PAC maps, it's easiest to turn off line wrapping.
This is a great idea, but will people think to go to the wiki for this? How do I edit that page? I don't see any options for that.
I'd rather keep it on the forums, if it's moved to the wiki I won't look as often as I do now. It's up to Hubs if he wants to continue here.
I'm fine with either - whatever makes most sense. I'm on the forums almost daily and will be able to update it frequently (at least until game 4 comes out :) )

Do you not have these buttons on the side of the wiki pages? Permissions might be askew in that case.
Main reason for suggesting the wiki is that more than one person can update the "top post" with the list. I don't mind either way and will be more than happy to nuke the wiki pages if that gets out of sync or are not used.
I just think it's a better repository for "stuff" than forum posts.
Ditto for maps and scripts.
I tried to create ""What is this?", but I don't have access to the edit page.

Rather that trying to figure out the byzantine interaction between forum groups and wiki permissions, I created placeholders for all 4 pages. See if you can edit those.
All of the pages are read only.
I don't have an edit option on the right:

Hmm... I'm confused
OK, I've added you and Asbestos to a subgroup called Editors that should give you editing privileges. Let me know if that fixes things.
(grumbles: Sometime V will have to take time out and look through Wiki privileges.)
I finally realized I have to log in to the wiki..duh!. I've got it now.
Well, now we'll never know if you had it before... I'm not messing with the permissions unnecessarily. Maybe that was Asbestos' problem as well.
No, I'm always logged directly with my forum account into the wiki. I could edit the Units page before, so maybe everything is automatically admin-protected for some reason.
Map list updated on the wiki.
The list has been updated! Sorry about the delay lately. Life gets busy...
Anyway, Nuhages has been very busy with 3 more difficult maps, as usual, and a new one from stdout. Check them out!
haven't there been any new?
Not recently. I've thought about dusting off the editor and making another one...
Working on all the PAC maps inspired me to get back in to game development, so I've been working on a new game of my own.

You have to tell us/me more!
The game is Battle for Orion 2. I've got a site up with more info, screenshots, and a forum. There's a link to a gameplay video on the development updates forum discussion.

Space based RTS glactic domination style game. Build space fleets, construct orbital modules, conquer star systems, travel through worm holes...stuff like that. I'm still taking alpha testers if you're interested...
