Nice BIG fight.
Lots of ways to play this one - had to restart several times...power, power, power.
Thanks,
H

Spoiler
The only way I could make it work was to use one of the upper PZ's for a Reactor.
Build as many Reactors as you can (one at a time), then build Beams for the Spores and protect the sides of your base with 2 Blasters.
Put one Beam in a PZ, a Blaster in the lower PZ, and have at least 3-4 more Beams.
Lots of Spores coming your way.
It was a very tricky start for me.
H
huh, i still cant do it, i have enough power zones to waste on the reactor
I tried several different combinations while trying to survive and the only one that worked was giving up one of the PZ's for a Reactor.
You have to have enough Beams to beat the Spores and enough Blasters to hold off the Creeper. Without the extra power from the PZ Reactor, I lost every time.
How comes that your screenshot doesn't show any digitalis on the "landing pod"???
This was killing me all the time (I managed the spores but not the digitails)
Please help!

Great question - and what kept getting me too.
Note that image is at about 1:20 (before the Digitalis gets there).
It took two Blasters up on each side of the platform to hold off the Digi & Creeper, plus a Blaster in the center PZ.
This is at about 12:45
Great map, really tough start.
Spoiler
After a few false starts I beat it by giving over all three of the PZ's to reactors and spamming beams. I dropped a blaster in the centre PZ to get the general area clear than reactors in the other two PZ as quick as possible and expand from there.
Tough start indeed! I feel like I've got a pretty good foothold now. I restarted once.
Looking good - you're about 4 minutes ahead of me at the same point.
This game was so darn good that I'm tempted to restart from scratch.
The blaster on the bottom left PZ was key for me.
Amazing map, one of the best I've played!
Spoiler
For me it was one blaster, one reactor and one beam on the 3 PZs, backed up by 5 beams around this and two blasters fairly high up in the top left corner to stop the digitalis from invading my base.
Spoiler
You don't need to have a beam on the pz all the time. I kept blasters there most of the time (in the early game). Just don't forget to switch.
hey
Happy nNew year everyone.
Thanks for the comments. I'm happy to see this map was apriciated :) I had a hard time balancing it.
