Survival is important!
Games with no Forge/Totems are a non-starter.
Without the chance for upgrades, the prospect of a long slog is just not appealing.

Agreed. It was a fun map, the starting challenge was a good one. Nice use of the wind mechanics. Took me 3 or 4 tries to establish myself. Even burying totems half the three-quarters of the way to the right amid the level 20 emitters would have been helpful. Once you have that area, the game is won, but without upgrades it's a slow slog. Slow != challenging. If you don't want to allow unlimited upgrades, put some aether nodes back there instead.
good thought to use some aether packs. I left the totems out since they can make the map too easy. thanks for the comments. I'll see if I can figure out how to update..

sorry dude, no updating maps that have been published, just re-release with a new title, like "now with added aether" ;)
I don't normally like the slow slog maps. But this one was a challenge to get started and those I like. So well done
from this camp!
Keep up the new map designs. No reruns... :)
