Map 03 in the series: Escape from Kaliron (EFK)

One restart here - doggone spore took out my entire network. ::)
Very nice map again; great landscape! :)
But ehm, not very heavy on the spores? Okay 4-5 per wave is not that much, but an intensity of 9 is! Normal values are between 0.1 and 1.0
Enjoyed myself a lot though!
the high intensity was to make a drastic penalty if you missed one :)
That's a pretty high penalty yeah.... it just means restart. Sometimes 3 spores come to the same SAM at the same time and there's little you can do about that (because of the slow reload times), even if you've built many more of them.
I actually never had a problem, the first wave the base is to tight, 3 sams first block them all
by the 2nd wave, I expand a little more and just build 1 extra sam, by the time I push downwards, I just put all the sams right at the bottom edge of the map, never worry about them again.
Finally took the time to fix my score.. and still lost to you by about 1 min :(
I never had a spore problem on this map either (just studied it in the map editor before playing), but I did on your 2 previous maps....
About the score: well, try again! ;) I made some mistakes at the end (with the double emitter), which cost me about a minute, as I had to rebuild 3 blasters.
Yeah, I liked to use the spores as a timing mechanism as part of the starting strategy. Pretty much once you get the first wave of spores done, as long as you spread the sams out as you expand they should never be a problem. That consistency follows suit in most of the maps I did so far.
Two versions of this one - this being the tougher.
Fun stuff.
Thanks.

Nice map, really, thanks ! I think you can do it under 16 minutes, made to less energy, took time to build.

I think you can do it under 16 minutes,...
LOL!
If I try really hard, I think I can make it in under 15.
