Hah!
I was in full-on attack mode, coming around third, then realized I missed the shortcut.
Now have to go back and give it another go.
("Ur" - there you go being subtle again.)

I made a few mistakes but there is a way to do this really fast.

After landing your CNs, build a few cannons and send them over across the gap to keep the digitalis away.
Meanwhile, nullify the closest two spore towers and build a relay on one. The relay should then allow you to connect across and supply your cannons. Move North and nullify.
I never used the AC nor built a Forge.

Wow, I did it completely different.

I landed one CN over on the east side to feed the totems. On the left I nullified everything and built berthas on PZs. Then took the shortcut using a PZ relay and the berthas cleared the way. Your way is clearly better.
