i tried to download a bunch of maps so i can play them later because i dont have internet access. i cant seem to find where they downloaded to so i can load and play them. i just got cw3 last week so please forgive me if this question has been asked a dozen times over.
In theory you shouldn't need internet access one you have downloaded the map. WHen you go into colonial space it will try to refresh the list of maps, that will fail, then it will show you the last cached list. Any downloaded map you can still play.
That said, the maps for colonial space go here on disk
c:\Users\YOUR_USER\Documents\creeperworld3\colonialspace\maps
Another tip: If you decide later you want to post a score for one of the maps you played offline, go back to it in colonial space and load the autosave (which I assume is from the already-won map), then immediately leave the world. You'll get the score page with the ability to upload your last score.
