Title: Pass the map 5-Let's make a map together

Rules:
1. You can make changes to the map only if none has LOCKED the topic.
2. To make your tile make a post in this thread saying LOCKED. Then download the map form the latest UNLOCKED post.
3. After editing, FINALIZE your map and make a new post with UNLOCKED in it. Attach the finalized map and screenshot.
4. You may not make another tile unless 3 other people make theirs.
5. The time limit is 6 hours, so that one does not lock the topic if they will not make their part of the map.

Map Specific rules:
1.The map theme is "Underground Boss".
2. The only CRPL to be added to the map is the up to 8 Weapon Scripts. The weapons should be CRPL cores of size 9x9 max and have a property Name:"WeaponX" where X is a number.
3. The scripts are not to be added to the map, instead upload the .cprl file and a small test map with just your weapon. It will make it easier to debug.
4. One can make the terrain as well as the weapon. Each counts as a separate contribution. You don't have to lock the map to make the weapon. Each triggers a septate 3 people posting break.
5. On while editing the terrain make a placeholder of a weapon. It should be 9x9. You may write what weapon would you like to be added to your square.
6. The area left over between the squares is to make a smooth transition of terrain, edit it if the square next to it is already complete.
7. The middle area is left over for the starting area as well as for the boss "heart" to emerge. Will be edited when the rest is done.

8. Copy and fill the list of weapons:

If we end up having more than 8 weapons that's ok, we will choose the most interesting ones. The rest can be used in future Pass the map games.

Spore towers with a twist.

-When connected to digitalis, they will slowly upgrade (more spores per volley).
-When disconnected from digitalis, they will slowly downgrade and launch slightly weaker spores. Once downgraded all the way they will launch no more spores until the digitalis grows back.
-They can be set to attack only units within a range, or the entire map.
-They can only be nullified when completely downgraded.

Wait: If that's what the name and square nr are for,

If there's enough creeper, it will fire creeper at a random unit in range. It's default range is a square, but can be adjusted.

This is something I suggested last time

A giant runner stun laser
Basically a mid range stun gun
I can't code it but I can think of it
Speaking of which to make it work it destroyes the original,creates a fake image where it was and when the time set for it it makes a new empty unit

The weakness of the gun is it's slow charging and it slow turn rate
To destroy it you take out the four power units positions around it
The power units can be sniped and when destroyed both increase the charge speed(of the gun) and inhibit the weapons movement

well here some ideas

the patrol units from that one map don't have to run around in a void, the will move about in any terrain at that same level, though with there current coding if it's not a one space line they won't go much of anywhere and just kinda move around in circles....putting the sorce ithe back of the map for them, and leading the trinches around the edges to where they should be will force the player to deal with them using snipers and unable to kill the sorce.

Then there is the idea of the leaching boats from river crossing with the upgrading inhibitor

fighting up a sorta ramp of sorts will  let you have several rows of trenches and the boats can go all the way around to the back to get in ...  not sure how to explain the idea but I can make a simple map to show the idea i got going (with out the crpl just the layers)

ok this is a really bad example with the scaling of the terrain, and I have never messed with the leach boat script so I didn't even try ... but here is an exsample of what I'm talking about the ramping with the patrols at each level

True it seems CPRL made people afraid. The only question is whether the map should be without much CPRL PTM4 or free for all like PTM 1-3. I will make a new game tomorrow, for now let's decide on the theme.

How about "Asteroid Field" theme?

That could work, anothere theme may be multi-level. Like choosing in the start which level from several you want to play, OR once you complete one, you get to the next level. (due to map-size i suggest everything (terrain, crpl cores, enemy locations, your starting units if any) be pre-saved in a crpl script or something)

I think that if the theme becomes asteroids there is more possibility for integrating CRPL since with the void containing the creeper there's more of a margin to increase the difficulty of the map with CRPL.

CRPL is a must. Everyone loves CRPL. But few love the actual coding, especially really complicated coding, which is why this flopped.
