This was intended to be another "50 PZ berthas and thors wont make a dent in it" kind of map as I have heard one of my maps described before well this isnt its easy enough and hint mortars are your friend blasters aren't.Have fun and don't forget to comment.
Hey Lance, I think you misunderstood us...
Nobody was talking about hard or easy. We were talking about 2k0.1s emitters without a reason. If you want to MAKE a map where a mega emitter cluster has to be battered relentlessly by 50 berthas, GO FOR IT.
It is just that the making of a map "hard" without a creative reason (CREATIVE being the key word) diminishes the map wealth.
Be mindful that you are in a position of power. You are the map maker. In the end of the day, YOU are in control.
We the consumers of maps, without mapmakers, are left hanging out to dry.
So make the maps that make SENSE to you. Have fun making your maps.
And do not seek the approval of the users. Do your thing, do your best. That will surely prove to be enough. Trolls, they be everywhere. Whiney kids that should be locked outside the internet, they be everywhere.
Mapmakers that consistently produce the content that makes the game wonderful? that's gold.
You are gold. Yum, planetfall, and everyone else that makes the maps, makes the scripts, are the ones that breathe life into the canvas Virgil gave us.
So make your maps. Let us see what you got lurking in your nogging. Have fun doing it, and have our thanks.
Don't get criticism get in your way. Express your art.
Take this stuff to heart - it is great advice!

How cordial of you.
"Noggin" (or nogging) is slang for head/mind/brain.
It was simply meant to encourage a new developer to express himself through his maps and not be overly concerned about the opinions of others...which is good advice for all of us.
Ah I don't mind criticism I ask for it I can make a quick map now and then like this one as well as my 50PZ bertha battles. Also can someone point me to a map-makers guide or quickly explain how to use wind in this game I have no clue?
Hey Lance,
This might be what you need:

That was a great quick map. Emitters on the edges makes for unusable PZs. A nice trick. Also the starting one you can't put a bertha on. Also nice.
I like having to find new strategies.

I am inspired to make maps
I can't as I'm too stupid and I can't program in ruby worth anything let alone a stack base language like CPRL
Just a heads up ruby=dead easy starter as state by many programmers
What would be nice is a ruby to CPRL conversion algorithm that would save me needding to learn another programming language (i have a lis of the thing namely ruby lua and CPRL)
