I think it an awesome map.  Multiple challenges.  

Initially I was a bit annoyed at having limited reactors.  However some of the challenge then becomes producing as much energy as possible and using as little as possible.  Some ways I did this included:

Collect all the ore possible including sucking the bottom left AC emitter (once the regular one is gone).  Use sprayers whenever possible instead of / in addition to the other weapons.

Whenever I got a PV, I initially used it for a mortar or sprayer, but then changed it to a reactor, you really realise the extra energy by just having a few reactors on PVs.

Whenever new ground is claimed, fill it with collectors, no need to be neat as there will be nothing else to go there.

I really liked the massive network of relays I ended up with, including having to have some on islands and occasionally supplement them with guppies.

Again, all in all it was an excellent map, but not for anyone who just wants a quickie.
