I thought it was a potentially-interesting map, and it could have been really fun, but the emitters were too weak to present a challenge. I started in three areas, and even if they hadn't been supporting each other, there was really no threat to any of them from the creeper.
I think it could be made a lot more fun by tweaking the emitter strengths.
Why the crystal resources without siphons to collect them? ::)
Definitely one where the right strategy pays. (I cost myself a couple minutes at least by completely forgetting the southern front ...) :-[
