I'm an all-out, die-hard convert to closed circuit liquid cooling.
But sometimes I look at stuff, and today I saw a build using the Phanteks PH-TC14PE (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835709011) air cooler. It has some impressive specifications and a list of acronyms as long as my arm.
I was almost convinced that this was a good idea, until I watched the video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJc-6n30vig) and saw the actual physical size of this monster. Skip to about 2:30 to see the actual size. :)
I doubt many mid-sized tower cases will accommodate this beast.
